Science, Pets & Pride started as a creative project during a period of transition, self-discovery, and reinvention.
As a scientist, pet lover, and late bloomer in the LGBTQ+ community, I wanted to create designs that celebrate the things that have brought me joy, comfort, and laughter throughout my life. Some designs are inspired by long days in the lab, others by the pets who somehow manage to supervise everything we do, and others by the journey of discovering who we are and embracing it.
Many of these designs are inspired by my own experiences, memories, and the people and animals I love. My hope is that you'll find something that makes you laugh, reminds you of a beloved pet, brings back a familiar science joke, or simply makes you feel seen.
